My dear Watson
I write these few lines through the courtesy of Mr. Moriarty, who awaits my convenience for the final discussion of those questions which lie between us. He has been giving me a sketch of the methods by which he avoided the English police and kept himself informed of our movements. They certainly confirm the very high opinion which I had formed of his abilities. I am pleased to think that I shall be able to free society from any further effects of his presence, though I fear that it is at a cost which will give pain to my friends, and especially, my dear Watson, to you. I have already explained to you, however, that my career had in any case reached its crisis, and that no possible conclusion to it could be more congenial to me than this. Indeed, if I may make a full confession to you, I was quite convinced that the letter from Meiringen was a hoax, and I allowed you to depart on that errand under the persuasion that some development of this sort would follow. Tell Inspector Patterson that the papers which he needs to convict the gang are in pigeonhole M., done up in a blue envelope and inscribed “Moriarty.” I made every disposition of my property before leaving England and handed it to my brother Mycroft. Pray give my greetings to Mrs. Watson, and believe me to be, my dear fellow
Very sincerely yours,
Sherlock Holmes

Hi! just wanted to share it, found it in my English textbook. I bought it last year though so it wasn’t inspired by the bbc production but I thought it was quite funny. :D

It’s unbelievable! High-res.

Oh god. They both have a great intellect, but otherwise they are so different. And Sheldon’s OCD and fandoms and references. And Sherlock’s boredom and habits and “can’t-be-bothered” nature.

Imagine the twisted evil twins of Holmes and Watson and you have the dangerous duo of Prof. James Moriarty - wily, snake- like, fiercely intelligent, unpredictable - and Colonel Sebastian ‘Basher’ Moran - violent, politically incorrect, debauched. Together they run London crime, owning police and criminals alike. Unravelling mysteries — all for their own gain. A spin-off from Titan’s highly successful Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes series, The Hound of the D’Urbervilles sees acclaimed novelist Kim Newman (Anno Dracula) take on the fiendish Professor Moriarty.

Oh, I may be on the side of the angels - but don’t think for one second that I am one of them

Someone requested a full set of wings on this one. So I tried to be careful about his blood loss, but I gave up in the end. So the blood loss is very unrealistic, but luckily, in the world of arts everything is possible.

La Gazza Ladra/The Thieving Magpie (by Rossini)

Finally I found the same version of the song (the same Orchestra) as the one used in The Reichebach Fall! Enjoy!

EditThe asks I get concerning are still flowing into my ask box! It’s the Philharmonia Orchestra, and you can download it here. It’s the one that’s 6 min 34 sec long (if you only want the part they used in the episode.)

Sherlock/The Lion King. I should be sleeping, but instead I’m making this.

Is our dear Jim Moriarty really dead?

Conspiracy, conspiracy.

Okay, I am going to share my thoughts about this, and I am just going to add a general spoiler warning (and I am throwing in a warning about …nasty details? Blunt language and detailed description about the damages a shot in the head could give)
