Sherlock BBC | crack!vid by the very talented KatrinDepp
Simply because it has been too long!
Plot twist: What if Jim Moriarty was just really crappy at drawing/carving, and what he meant to say instead of IOU was “I ❤ U” like some awkward primary school crush
Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat will be signing copies of Sherlock: The Casebook at Waterstones, Gower St, from 12:15 pm. TODAY
I just want to casually mention that this pic isn’t a new promo pic at all!

Do you remember the Belarus scene in the very beginning of the Great Game? It’s from that scene.
In fact, I believe this picture is so old people has started forgetting about it, and rediscovering it again - thinking it is new. I can tell you that Sherlock Series 3 hasn’t started filming yet, and we will still have to wait for our promo pics.
I am, like so many others, currently looking for Christmas gifts! Perhaps you’ve already finished your Christmas gift shopping, perhaps your not celebrating Christmas, or perhaps you’re looking for another present instead? In any case I want to share what I find!
(The list is under the ‘read more’ and will be updated)
There is an all-male Twelfth Night in the West End, and an all-femaleJulius Caesar opening later this month, but Benedict Cumberbatch has no intention of following Jonny Lee Miller’s example and working with a female Dr Watson as his pal did in the series Elementary.
“After working with with Martin [Freeman], I could never imagine Watson being a woman,” the Sherlock star assures me at a party to celebrate Spencer Hart’s 10th anniversary at the Brompton Club . “Martin is established as Watson.
“I have seen the pilot and one other episode of Elementary – I think it’s great. It works with Lucy playing Watson and she’s a good actress, but I don’t think you could do that here with Sherlock.”
Elementary, the US adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s detective series, sees Miller take the lead role while Dr Watson, who is conventionally a man, is portrayed by the former Charlie’s Angelsactress, Lucy Liu.
“It’s not that I think it doesn’t work in the States, it’s just Martin has been established as Watson and you can’t change that.”
Cumberbatch is due to start filming the third series of Steven Moffat’s Sherlock next January. “I’m really looking forward to it,” he says, adding he hopes the next series will be “bigger and better” than before.
