I woke up from a weird dream this morning

I dreamt that Mrs. Hudson had her own talk show, and she invited me to be her guest (for a reason I no longer remember). Since it’s Mrs. Hudson we’re talking about, she was of course incredibly cute. We got along very well, and after the show she invited me to her summer house, and I accepted (of course). That’s when things got weird(er). Basically, many of Benedict’s films and series sort of blended into my dream.

First of all, we found the body of  Sir Jeffrey Patterson from A Study in Pink just outside her house. I freaked out, but Mrs. Hudson just said “Oh, dear. This happens occasionally. Just cover him up with some leaves will you, dear?” And I did. And all was good.

Then, during dinner, Miss Marple dropped by - as an old friend of Mrs. Hudson. Unfortunately without the company of the stunning Luke Fitzwilliam (from Miss Marple: Murder Is Easy).

After dinner, Mrs. Hudson announced that her only nephew was coming home from military service - which turned out to be Bernard Bligh (Small Island). I did not complain about that.

And just before I woke up, the beach comber from Third Star showed up, and turned out to be Mrs. Hudson’s paranoid ex-lover, which had just been through a serious breakdown. He was a maniac. We ended up hiding in her basement (which was stocked full of chocolate!). And then I woke up.

I love you, Mrs. Hudson.
