Don’t terrorize people, please. Would you like it if anyone terrorized you?

Because that’s what it is.

I wish I didn’t have to write this post. But I feel like I do. I’m referring to some of the rude and insensitive tweets which I’ve seen (particularly to Gatiss or Hallard) on twitter.

Why would anybody send him that?

Dear Fans,
Not everyone is aware what a term like “to ship” means. Don’t jump things like this on your favourite show’s creator(s). They’ll most likely think you mad.
Kindest regards,
another Fan.

For fucks sake. Stop fucking sending things like this to them. It makes me embarrassed to associate myself with any of you.

ugh, actually feel so embarrassed right now

I bet he knows exactly what it means. And I bet he knew this ^^^ was how we were going to react from his response, and that way annihilate the wild twitter shipping spree at its source. Mark Gatiss isn’t a man at all. He’s a spider. Spider at the center of a web. A fandom web with a thousand threads and he knows precisely how each and every single one of them dances.

I have reached a milestone of 5000 followers, and to celebrate this, I am having a small giveaway!
This time I’m going to give away The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, with an introduction by Mark Gatiss.

The hit BBC series Sherlock offers a fresh, contemporary take on the classic Sir Arthur Conan Doyle stories, and has helped introduce a whole new generation of fans to the legendary detective. In this new edition of Conan Doyle’s first collection of short stories, Sherlock co-creator Mark Gatiss explains how these gripping tales inspired and influenced the new series.Sherlock: The Adventures contains twelve short stories first published in The Strand magazine between 1891 and 1892 and then published as a collection in October 1892. It includes some of Conan Doyle’s best tales of murder and mystery, such as ‘The Adventures of the Speckled Band’, in which the strange last words of a dying woman ‘It was the band, the speckled band!’ and a inexplicable whistling in the night are the only clues Sherlock Holmes has to prevent another murder; and ‘The Five Orange Pips’, in which an untimely death and the discovery of the letter containing five orange pips lead to a cross-Atlantic conspiracy.

THE RULES ARE SIMPLE:
Reblog to participate! (No maximum number of reblogs, but let’s be realistic)
I will pick a random winner on the 1st of February
I’ll ship it to anywhere in the world
You don’t have to, but I would love to see some funny/interesting comments. It makes it so much more fun to go through the reblogs in the end. ^_^ Good luck!
