I hate to do this, but I really don't believe people are 'picking on' deductism. What I've seen, for the most part, is people trying to educate her. "I couldn't just have a random Molly." - As if gender worked like that. As if she'd be happy if in real life if she wasn't allowed a job, or access to a bar, in case it tipped the gender balance. There’s no shame at all in putting up your hands and going “Whoa, I was ignorant, I fucked up. Lesson learnt.”

I said I wasn’t going to have this discussion, but here I go: She’s explained herself several times. I think there are limits for how many corrections a person should have to take. Gender wasn’t supposed to even be an issue. She didn’t want to do this. She didn’t mean for all this to happen. I want us to take this for what it is supposed to be.

People make mistakes. That’s what people do. That’s the most human thing of all.

I don’t think she should have to excuse and explain herself to the end of our days. It’s enough now. She got the point; and she’s said so. :)

We could ask ourselves, all of us: Do we want her on her knees, or could we be more understanding?

Now, I do respect your opinion, but I’m going to leave this subject now. :)

Dear followers, help me spread some love!

Most of you are a part of the Sherlockian fandom. We have our moments of insanity and madness, but now I want us all to spread some love.

I know, and I think you know, what it’s like to get tumblr hate. Even if it’s anonymous and without good arguments, it still drains you.

You know deductism? The creator behind several of the brilliant fandvids we see on our dash? (Recently BBC Sherlock with Friends intro) I think she deserves some love right now. Deductism made this hilarious parody which many people picked on a took a bit too seriously, when it was only supposed to be for fun. :)

I follow deductism, and I think she does a wonderful job, and you know what it’s like: When one person starts picking on you, others follow.

Respectable amounts of criticism is okay, but hate or arrogance is not. I would hate to see such a wonderful blog go under because of something as unnecessary as this. Regarding the vid: I’m not telling you what’s right and wrong - and I am not going to. I am simply saying that I know, as you do, what it is like to get picked on.

Personally I try to follow The Golden Rule: “One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself.” And I don’t think we should forget that, even if this is the “lawless internet”.

Here’s deductisms ask box. Let’s brighten up someone’s day! :)
