You might not see me as much in the following few days. I had to go to the emergency room last night where they found out I had pneumonia. Currently living in my bed, snacking on antibiotics and cough mixture (with morphine - bless the doctor). 

Mr. Moomin (as we shall call him), also known as my flatmate, has passed on his cold to me, so it’s going to be a lazy weekend.

Anyway, I have passed 15 000 followers, and I am thinking about arranging a giveaway, but I have a fever and can’t come up with any ideas. If you have any ideas/suggestions you want to share, please feel free to comment or send me an ask!

So, a week from tomorrow (February 5th), I am probably not going to be online since I am going to England (to Kent to be specific - everyone keeps assuming I’m going to London. Well, I am, but only for like two hours). I am taking a vacation! I am going with akapine006 and imberantiel. It’s going to be great! 

So, I am going to be away for a week, starting next Tuesday (5th of February). I am going to England with my best friend, and we’re going to meet my girlfriend :’) My best friend says she’s going to film everything. A bit nervous about that. 

I usually get a lot of asks when I announce things like this, so I decided to tell you a few days in advance so I get the chance to answer eventual questions.

A treat before The Hobbit premier in Norway (Trondheim)! 

As the movie was about to start yesterday, a barefooted, male choir stepped up and sang us Misty Mountains. I have to say, it really set the mood! 

I have to excuse the quality, since it was recorded with my iPhone in poor lighting - but I still think it is worth uploading. 

I know a few lucky, privileged souls already have attended the premier of the Hobbit in New Zealand the 28th of November, while the rest of the world waits in yearning agony. 

But I just feel so happy that I have premier tickets for the 12th! A few minutes past midnight, I will be amongst hundreds of other bloodthirsty Vikings fighting their way into the theatres. (Ok, we’re not that bloodthirsty. And we will be quite peaceful.) 

The 12th!Not the 13th, like in the UK. Not the 14th like in the US - THE 12TH! AKLDSJALKDJ! For once we can have an early premier in Scandinavia~. FINALLY WE CAN HAVE NICE THINGS. And the same goes for Germany, Belgium, South Africa, Netherland, New Zealand France and Finland! *Chest bump*

What I’ve been through is not extraordinary in any way. Bullying, abuse, addiction and violence are common tales of woe, and have always been. Yes, I may suffer from a clinical depression and PTSD, but I know there are people in this world who would still kill to be in my place - even with my heavily narcissistic mother. Children are being raped and made into soldiers every day. I am lucky. 

I don’t feel sorry for myself, and I don’t want anyone else to do so either. :) 

He is so nice! When I was born he often took the initiative to go for walks with me in the stroller, and my father said my brother always felt this need to protect me when growing up - probably because our mother isn’t all that easy to be around, and she was particularly hard on him. He didn’t want the same to happen to me. He sort of watched over me when my father was at work. He could always turn to our sister for support, but with the age difference he knew that I would at some point be the only child left in the house because the two of them would move out ;; 

That’s sweet! Thank you =) Ok. I’ll give you a short introduction to my family. 

My father

Strength: Knowledge. Weakness: Us cute babiessss

My father is the man in his early 60s, still reading Donald Duck and watching Duck Tales on the telly, laughing out loud, and loves practical jokes. Despite being a big kid, he has the knowledge of a fucking encyclopaedia. You can ask him about any historical event, and he’ll give you a detailed, long description about it. He values justice and equal rights, and he is very modest. He will never claim to know better than anyone (despite the fact that he usually does), because that’s rude. He is very considerate towards other people. And I think he’s Daenerys Targaryen’s biggest fanboy. He sure likes strong women. 

My mother

Strength: Particularly well-spoken. Weakness: Impulse control.

My mother is anything but easy-going, and the exact opposite of my father. I don’t have much contact with her. She can be so charming and nice, but when she gets bored she is hellish to be around, because you never know what she’s going to say/do. I have a strong personality, she’s got a strong personality… It seldom ends well.

(And I have to mention that, yes, my parents are divorced. They have been for over 10 years. How did they even get married akjdalsj)

My sister

Strength: Well-spoken. Weakness: Gossip.

And then there’s my older sister. She’s 17(!) years older than me, she’s married and have three kids. I was an aunt at 13 xD My sister is really nice, but she’s the kind to always be on the phone with the latest news (with three kids hanging over her shoulder). But she is always there for me, and I love her. 

My brother

Strength: Intellect. Weakness: Cake. 

And then there’s my older brother 15 years older than me and a tall, skinny giraffeee~! (He’s like 1.94 meters!) He’s a pretty big IT-man during work hours, and a goofy nerd in his spare time. His title is so long and sassy I won’t even begin with it. His biggest dream is that I start doing IT too, because he claims I’ve got the brains for it. When I ask him about ambitions, he will say: “RULE THE WORLD! MUAHAHAHA!” 

And that’s my nearest, slightly dysfunctional family. :3
